Thomas Ng

Thomas Ng is a founding partner of GGV.  He currently serves on the board of directors of Reebonz, Mediacorp, Chaintea Holdings and Heptagon.  He led GGV’s investments in Alibaba, AAC Technologies (2018.HK), hiSoft (NASDAQ: HSFT), S i2i (formerly Mediaring)(SES:M09SI) and Oculex (acquired by Allergan).

Thomas was the founding Managing Director of Venture TDF, a venture fund established by the Government of Singapore under National Science and Technology Board where he had served as a Director. Thomas has held senior management positions at DuPont and Genelabs Technologies (acquired by GlaxoSmithKline).  Thomas had also conducted basic research at the NREL (formerly SERI) under the Department of Energy and the DuPont Experimental Station.

Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
