Prior to that, he worked at the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA), a unit under the Ethiopian Prime Minister’s office to transform the Ethiopian agriculture sector. Most notably, Madhu co-designed Ethiopia’s Strategic Food Reserve, a $600M complex procurement, storage, and logistics effort - which supported 16 million people in the Eli Nino drought that hit the country in the following year.
Madhu graduated with an MS and MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar (Top 10% of the graduating MBA class), and with a Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.
