Marcello Rossi is an investor at GGV Capital, where he focuses on seed through growth-stage investments in the fintech and consumer sectors. He covers investment opportunities both in the U.S. and Latin America.
In 2022, he (along with Hans Tung and Robin Li) helped launch GGV’s annual Embedded Fintech 50 initiative that brings together fintech founders and investors to identify the most promising companies across early, mid, and late stages.
Prior to joining GGV, Marcello was on the fintech investment teams at DST Global and General Atlantic, and worked on the sales, strategy, execution team at Worldpay. He graduated with a B.A. in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University.
