Steve Hyndman has served as GGV Capital U.S.’s Chief Financial Officer since 2005. He has over 30 years of financial, venture capital, and operational experience in Silicon Valley-based technology enterprises.
He was previously CFO of Prospero Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology companies, and CFO of the U.S. subsidiary of ASCII Corporation, a Tokyo-based technology and media company making strategic investments throughout North America. Steve also served as CFO of a publicly traded software company, and held various financial and operating positions.
Steve is a graduate of Santa Clara University, where he earned a B.S. in Commerce (cum laude) and Juris Doctor. He also studied international business at the Instituto de Estudios Europeos in Madrid, Spain.
